Rex has been a backflow endorsed plumber for more than 16 years. His knowledge is extensive, having worked in the Sunshine Coast on everything from simple backyard rainwater tanks to large hospital networks of 400+ backflow valves.

He’s operated RW Barnes Plumbing for 18 years on the Sunshine Coast, working on everything from leaking taps to large commercial plumbing installations, maintenance and repair. Always on time, always with a friendly smile!

Rex ran three large businesses in Sydney under the Barnes banner in the 1980s and 90s focussing on plumbing, sheet metal and pipe location/leak detection. Employing 22 workers with 15 vehicles on the road, he was highly sought after for his knowledge and reliability. At one point he was looking after 3,500 units.
